Recovery is a life-long process. Studies have shown that the first twelve months in the recovery process, they are the most vulnerable to relapse behaviors that eventually will lead to relapse. In our experience around active addiction and active recovery, relapse begins several days/weeks before the actual relapse. Monitoring these behaviors with Certified Recovery Coaches, who are trained in these matters, are crucial.

Ebby's Place is our supportive, structured sober house. We provide housing, food, level behavioral system, accountability and live-in house management. While residing at Ebby’s Place, residents learn how to live sober, and how to get back on their feet through their own contributions. Residents are required to find employment and contribute to their own recovery. The level system is set in place to motivate each resident through the 12 steps, as well as manage employment and or school and rotations of routine household duties.

A Sober Coach is a supportive, personalized confidant that works individually with the recovering addict to determine the best course of action to achieve and maintain sobriety, using an individualized treatment plan. Sober Coaches provide a unique level of accountability that is especially necessary for the newly recovering addict. By holding the newly recovering addict accountable on a regular basis through the many levels of recovery, our sober coach individually guides and directs toward successful sober living. The recovering individual is held accountable in various facets of their life, and the monitoring includes multiple daily communications, regular face to face assessments of progress, and liaison with other areas of the individual’s daily life such as school, work, and social life.
